Schoenbrunn Palace

Schönbrunn Palace, together with its ancillary buildings and extensive park, is by virtue of its long and colourful history one of the most important cultural monuments in Austria. Scheduled as a listed monument, the whole ensemble, including the palace, the park with its numerous architectural features, fountains and statues, and not least the zoo – the oldest of its kind in the world – was placed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1996.

The “Highlight Tour” is a tour through the central wing with the ceremonial and state rooms and through the east wing. Here you'll see the splendid audience chamber of Maria Theresa and Emperor Franz Stephan, as well as many other fascinating interiors. Duration: 40 minutes.
The “Imperial Tour”, with 22 state rooms, is a short tour of Schönbrunn Palace. It will take you through the west wing of the palace showing you the apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth, as well as the magnificent ceremonial rooms in the central part of the palace. Duration: 40 minutes.
The “Grand Tour” of Schönbrunn Palace includes all of the above mentioned magnificent rooms - in total 40 - and lasts for about 60 minutes.
